Wipro partners with FEBRABAN to develop noomis
Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company, announced on Monday that it has successfully launched the first phase of noomis, the new platform of FEBRABAN.
FEBRABAN is an industry association that represents the financial services sector in Brazil. It also organizes CIAB, an information technology trade show for financial services in Latin America.
The company, in the press release, stated that noomis will serve as a meeting point and a discussion platform for the finance professionals in Brazil who participate in CIAB FEBRABAN. Built with digital cloud technologies, the platform is envisaged to change the way companies collaborate and share information. noomis will provide reliable, analytical, and unbiased information via news reports, biogs, videos, and newsletters that will enable participants to stay up to date on financial market trends.
Wipro has partnered with FEBRABAN on this project development journey, which has so far included the design and delivery of the first phase of the online platform. The company was also responsible for creation of workflows and the editorial publisher module for content management in the platform.

On Tuesday, shares of Wipro had opened in BSE at Rs.241.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 240.00. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 242.95 and intraday low of 239.75. At 13:49 hours, the stock was trading at Rs. 241.45, up by 0.60 per cent.
