Wipro launches Digital Product Compliance lab in Hyderabad

Wipro announced the launch of a global Digital Product Compliance lab in Hyderabad, on Tuesday. The new lab has a key focus on security and is equipped with cutting-edge environment chambers designed to simulate harsh environments to test products. It also features a state-of-the-art facility for Wi-Fi devices.

The lab will offer integrated digital product testing services to ensure compliance with international standards for reliability, safety and security for customers across industries such as automotive, defense, consumer electronics, aerospace, telecom, medical, energy and manufacturing.

This lab will be a part of Wipro’s Tarang Labs which offers product qualification and compliance laboratory with testing capabilities for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), safety, environment, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, shock and vibration, noise, material, calibration and medical devices and it is the only lab in South East Asia qualified to certify Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices.

Wipro is a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company with a strong commitment to sustainability and good corporate citizenship.

On Wednesday, the stock of Wipro opened at 266.50 per share and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 266.5 and 262.15, respectively on the BSE. At 11.35 am, the stock was trading at Rs. 262.90, down  by 0.64 per cent
