Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on November 16

The domestic equity benchmarks managed to trade with small gains, in the morning trade.

The domestic equity benchmarks managed to trade with small gains, in the morning trade. The Nifty traded above the 18,400 level. Auto shares extended gains for third consecutive session. Information Technology and bankex were the top gaining sectors on the BSE. 

  

At 11:07 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, is trading with slight gains up by 114 points to 61,987 levels. In the broader market, S&P BSE Mid-Cap on the other hand have fallen by 36 points whereas Small-Cap index increased by 40 points. 

  

The Nifty 50 index has edged higher by 23 points and is trading at 18,426 levels. The Bank Nifty too climbed by 151 points and is presently trading at 42,524 levels. Top Gainers on the nifty were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Eicher Motors, Dr. Reddy Laboratories, Wipro and TCS. 

  

On November 15, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) and foreign portfolio investors (FPIs), both turned out to be net sellers of shares worth 549.28 crores and Rs 221.32 crores respectively.
