Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 28

On Tuesday morning, Sensex reached the day’s low but has recovered a bit from there.

The key equity indices traded lower amid negative global cues as well as rising crude oil prices. The majority of the losses were led by Asian Paints and Titan on Nifty index while the support was seen coming from M&M, ONGC, and Coal India.  

 

Meanwhile, the rupee hit a record low of 78.59 against the US dollar in the early trade. Global crude oil prices rose due to the possibility of sanctions by G7 nations on Russian oil during yesterday’s meeting.  

  

On Tuesday morning, Sensex reached the day’s low but has recovered a bit from there. At 12.37 pm, the index lost 149 points and is trading at the 53,011 level. Likewise, BSE Midcap index has slipped by merely 15 points and trades at 21,975 levels. BSE Smallcap index also dropped 22 points and trades at 24,886 levels. In terms of sectoral indices, apart from auto, energy, metal, oil & gas, and capital goods, all sectors are trading in the red.  

  

Likewise, Nifty 50 index has recovered the morning fall. It is now down by 17 points and trades at 15,814 levels. Similarly, Bank Nifty plunged by a small margin of 102 points and trades at a level of 33,708. The Top Gainers</span></a></strong> are ONGC, Hindalco Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel. On the other hand, the <strong><a href=" https:="" market-statistics="" markets="" top-losers="" www.dsij.in="">Top Losers include Asian Paints, Titan, Divi’s Laboratories, Bajaj Finserv, and Adani Ports.  

              

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,278.42 crore on June 27 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,184.47 crore.
