At 11:00 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, is trading with marginal gains of 180 points and is now trading at 62,310 levels. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap also has increased slightly by 42 points to a level of 26,215. The Small-Cap index also appreciated 123 points, trading at 29,789 levels.
The Nifty 50 index is currently trading at 18,528 levels, up 31 points. The Bank Nifty also surged 191 points and is trading at a level of 43,899.
On December 12, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) turned out to be net buyers of shares worth Rs 695.60 crores and the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) turned out to be net sellers of shares worth 138.81 crores.
