Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on April 07

BSE Sensex plunged on the third day straight by 307 points and is trading at a level of 59,284.70.

The US markets namely, Dow Jones and NASDAQ were down by 0.40 per cent & 2.2 per cent, respectively. Invesco plans to sell a 7.8 per cent stake in Zee via block deals. Bandhan Bank, ChrysCap, and GIC teamed up to buy IDFC Mutual Fund for Rs 4,500 crore. Meanwhile, ‘Tata Neu’, the country’s first super app is set to launch today. The buyers outnumbered sellers to show positivity in the market. On BSE, 2,018 shares rose and 1,196 shares fell. The FIIs sold shares worth Rs 2,279.97 crore while the DIIs bought shares worth Rs 622.92 crore on April 6.  

 

BSE Sensex plunged on the third day straight by 307 points and is trading at a level of 59,284.70. On the flip side, BSE MidCap has advanced 151 points and is trading at 25,327.08 levels. BSE SmallCap index has also added 123 points and trades at the level of 29,814.76. The gaining stocks on BSE Sensex are NTPC (2.25 per cent), Axis Bank (1.71 per cent), ICICI Bank (1.44 per cent), Induslnd Bank (1.26 per cent), and Dr Reddy Laboratories (1.17 per cent).    

 

Also, tracking weakness in the market, Nifty 50 index fell by 81 points and is trading at 17,725.90 levels. On the flip side, Bank Nifty gained 151 points and trades at 37,783.90 levels. The major contributors to Nifty 50 are NTPC (2.22 per cent), Axis Bank (1.82 per cent), Induslnd Bank (1.44 per cent), ICICI Bank (1.39 per cent), and Apollo Hospitals (1.18 per cent).
