Watch out for these low-priced stocks which made fresh 52-week high on Wednesday
At 11.30 am on Wednesday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading at 61,169 and 18,190 levels, respectively. Sensex was up by 552 points, while Nifty was up by 135 points from the last trading session.
The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance, Hindalco, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index included Titan Company, Cipla, United Phosphorous Limited, TCS, and Shree Cements.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at 30,612, up by 0.59 per cent. The top five gainers are Indo Rama Synthetics, Menon Bearings, Apex Frozen Foods, Control Print, and Varroc Engineering. Each of these stocks gained more than 11 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include Greaves Cotton, Alankit, Kellton Tech Solutions, Xelpmoc Design and Tech, and GRM Overseas.
Talking about the sectoral indices on the BSE, only BSE Consumer Durables and BSE Healthcare are showing a bearish trend.
