Unichem Labs shine on receiving EIR for Roha API facility
The stock of pharmaceutical company, Unichem Laboratories Limited, rose by more than five per cent today after the company announced that it has received an establishment inspection report (EIR) from USFDA for its API facility at Roha.
In an exchange filing made after the market hours on Thursday, Unichem Laboratories informed that it has received an EIR from US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) on May 13, 2020 for the company’s active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) facility at Roha (Maharashtra).
Adding to this, the company said that the inspection was conducted from February 17 to 21, 2020.
Headquartered in Mumbai (Maharashtra), Unichem Laboratories is one of the oldest and the largest pharmaceutical company in India. The company manufactures and markets a large basket of pharmaceutical formulations across the globe, including the regulated markets of USA and Europe. It has API manufacturing facility located at Roha & Kolhapur (Maharashtra) and Pithampur (Madhya Pradesh).
At 10.44 am on Friday, the stock of Unichem Laboratories Ltd is trading at Rs 134.00, up by 5.14 per cent against its previous close of Rs 127.45. Its 52-week high is Rs 200.60 while, its 52-week low is Rs 75.10 on BSE.
