TV Today Network receives rating upgrade
On Thursday, CRISIL upgraded its rating on the long-term bank facilities of TV Today Network Limited (TVTN) from 'CRISIL AA-/Stable' to 'CRISIL AA/Stable' and reaffirmed its 'CRISIL A1' rating on the short-term bank facility.
The rating agency stated that the upgrade reflected the expectation of continued improvement in the company's operating performance, driven by its leadership position in the Hindi news segment. Additionally, its strong financial risk profile and robust liquidity, driven by an un-leveraged balance sheet, aided the decision to upgrade the rating of the long-term bank facilities.
T.V. Today Network is engaged in television programming and broadcasting activities in various markets, such as television, digital media, and radio. It also operates various news channels, such as AAJ TAK, INDIA TODAY TELEVISION, DILLI AAJ TAK and TEZ.
On Thursday, the stock closed at Rs 252.40, up by 3.68 per cent or Rs 8.95 per share. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 378.60 and the 52-week low is recorded at Rs 227.50.
