TRIL shines on order win of Rs 130 crore

Transformers & Rectifiers India Limited (TRIL) jumped 16 per cent on bagging order worth Rs 130 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.

The said order falls under the normal course of business including supply and service of transformers. The company neither has any interest in the entity that awarded the order nor fall within related party transactions.

With this order, the company's order book as on date stands around Rs 1,175 crore. The book to bill ratio gets translated to 1.4x considering its consolidated revenue of FY19.

On the financial front, TRIL’s consolidated revenue for the quarter Q3FY20 came in at Rs 210.84 crore as against Rs 195.87 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 7.6 per cent YoY increase. EBITDA for the quarter grew by 46.3 per cent YoY to Rs 16.4 crore as against Rs 11.21 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin expansion of 206 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 7.8 per cent. PAT for the quarter came in at Rs 1.56 crore as against the net loss of Rs 1.85 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

On Friday, the stock of TRIL had closed at Rs 6.37. On Monday, it opened gap up 15 per cent at Rs 7.35. During the day, it jumped 16.1 per cent to Rs 7.40.
