Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 56.28 points or 0.10 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further lost 286.23 points or 0.53 per cent and stood at the level of 54,109.00.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals, consumer durables, and realty indices were trading in red whereas power, auto & utilities indices were trading in green.

Meanwhile, Ahluwalia Contracts (India) LtdRattanIndia Power Limited, and ITI Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share price could purely be driven by the market forces.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 7.09 per cent to trade at Rs 444 apiece. This rally came on the back of an order win announced by the company on Monday after the market hours. As per the press release, the company has secured a new order for the construction work of Amity Campus Bengaluru, aggregating to Rs 150 crore (approx.) from Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. The total order inflow during FY 2022-23 stands at Rs 863 crore.

RattanIndia Power Limited, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 4.23 per cent to trade at Rs 3.94 apiece.

At the same time, the shares of ITI Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 3.27 per cent to trade at Rs 101.10 apiece.
