These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 3984.80 points or 5.29 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 72,283.07, signifying a loss of 3081.62 points or 4.09 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 9.2 per cent, power plunged by 8.24 per cent, and auto slipped by 6.87 per cent.
Meanwhile, DCM Shriram Ltd, Vinati Organics Ltd and Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
DCM Shriram Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.10 per cent to trade at Rs 1,100.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Vinati Organics Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 3.16 per cent to trade at Rs 1,555.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.01 per cent to trade at Rs 434.40 apiece. Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited has informed the Exchange about Provisional Business Figures of the Bank as on 31st March 2025.
