Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 3.79 points or 0.00 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 77,945.27, signifying a gain of 71.92 points or 0.09 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.30 per cent, power zoomed by 0.24 and auto soared by 0.31 per cent.
Meanwhile, NCC Ltd, IPCA Laboratories Ltd, and Thirumalai Chemicals Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
NCC Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.26 per cent to trade at Rs 215.20 apiece. The Company has received 2 (Two) Advance Work Orders dated 25th March 2025 from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for Design, Supply, Construction, Installation, Upgradation, Operation and Maintenance of middle mile network of BharatNet, in Uttarakhand Telecom Circle (against Package No.- 05) and Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles (against Package No.- 01).
IPCA Laboratories Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.21 per cent to trade at Rs 1,525.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
