Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 15 points or 0.02 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 80,826.56 signifying a loss of 223.44 points or 0.28 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 0.40 per cent, power plunged by 0.70 and auto slipped by 0.25 per cent.

Meanwhile, Kesoram Industries Ltd, JSW Holdings Limited and Redtape Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Kesoram Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.12 per cent to trade at 223.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

JSW Holdings Limited rallied 4.42 per cent to trade at Rs 1,225 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Redtape Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.77 per cent to trade at Rs 809.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
