Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 111.19 points or 0.19 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood flat 59,113.86 signifying a slight gain of 18.88 points or 0.03 per cent.  

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals gained 0.24 per cent, power was down by 0.39 per cent whereas auto stood flat.   

Meanwhile, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd, PTC Industries Ltd and Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.     

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.96 per cent to trade at Rs 395.00apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.   

PTC Industries Ltd rallied 3.50 per cent to trade at Rs 2408.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.   

Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.29 per cent to trade at Rs 93.20 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
