Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 77.26 points or 0.12 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 60,488.46, signifying loss of 18.44 points or 0.03 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals were down by 0.27 per cent, power weakened by 0.9 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.13 per cent.

Meanwhile, Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Ltd and JK Paper Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 4.06 per cent to trade at Rs 625.95 apiece. This rally comes ahead of the company's ex-dividend date, which is tomorrow. The company had announced a dividend of Rs 0.60 per share, representing 6 per cent of face value of Rs 10 per share.

Sindhu Trade Links Ltd, rallied 3.33 per cent to trade at Rs 21.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

JK Paper Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 3.32 per cent to trade at Rs 422.90 apiece. Yesterday, the company announced its Q3FY23 results. The company reported a quarterly consolidated turnover of Rs 1,734.50 crore (up 59 per cent), EBITDA of Rs 614.49 crore (up 116 per cent) and Profit after Tax (PAT) of Rs 329.32 crore (up 119 per cent) for the quarter ended December’22 (Q3) compared to corresponding quarter of previous financial year.
