Top-performing penny stocks in June 2021

June 2021 has been an interesting month for domestic stock markets as penny stocks seem to be back in action.

On one hand, many analysts are worried about the bubbling of stock market bubble while on the other hand, some are extremely optimistic about the bull run. Even then, June 2021 has been an interesting month for domestic stock markets as penny stocks seem to be back in action.

Sensex gained by around 1.61 per cent since the beginning of June 2021 until a few days back, when profit booking has caused bears to be dominant. Overall, the index rose by 0.39 per cent in the month of June 2021, giving a boost to penny stocks.

Recently, it has been witnessed that shares of companies belonging to Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) have been on a buzz as for the Group’s companies that are under the NCLT resolution process, the financial decision shall be taken by the firms soon while data trends indicate that maybe, the overall revival shall be much higher in comparison to the amount, which is to be payable to the companies' creditors. This has created a rewarding interest for investors as expectations are that enough value for the companies' existing shareholders will be left.

The shares of Proseed India gained the most in June 2021 while recording a significant jump of 981.58 per cent on a YTD basis. In terms of purchase of shares made by insider individual, Proseed India’s Additional Executive Whole-Time director, Vivek Ratakonda has made a quite big purchase in the period of last one year. Insider purchases and longer-term insider transactions generally give out an impression of confidence in the company’s growth. This also sometimes suggests that the company’s insiders think that the current share price is probably too low as against the company’s promising future.
