This mid-cap company receives new orders of Rs 3,185 crore!

Today, shares of the company saw a spurt in volume by more than 1.33 times on BSE.  

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd informed both the exchanges (BSE & NSE) that the company & its international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs 3,185 crore. T&D received an order worth Rs 1,481 crore. Orders for EPC projects in the Water sector totalled Rs 1,509 crore. The commercial building project received an order worth Rs 195 crore.  

Today, shares of the company surged 2.18 per cent to an intraday high of Rs 523.70 per share from its previous closing of Rs 512.55. At 03:30 pm, shares of the company ended the day in red, down 1.33 per cent to Rs 505.75 per share.   

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd is a global EPC player with diversified interests in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, railways and biomass-based power generation. Today, shares of the company saw a spurt in volume by more than 1.33 times on BSE.  

According to the financials, Kalpataru Power Transmission has a market cap of Rs 8,216 crore. The company reported a positive number in the Quarterly Results (Q3) which were recently released by the company. In Q3FY23, the company did net sales of Rs 4,004 crore and a net profit of Rs 109 crore with a 1-year CAGR of 27 per cent. Investors should keep an eye on this Mid-Cap company.
