These stocks are exhibiting positive breakout; do you hold any?

In early trade, Nifty 50 was trading in the green at over 17,300 levels, ahead of the RBI's MPC session. In this post, we have highlighted the top stocks experiencing a price volume breakout.

Wall Street experienced a bumpy trading session amid increased geopolitical concerns between the US and China, with Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 all closing in the red, down 1.23 per cent, 0.16 per cent, and 0.67 per cent, respectively. Even the major domestic indices started to move in the red after beginning the day in the green at 17,300 levels.

At the time of writing, the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,241.40, down 104.05 points (0.60 per cent). Broader market indices lagged frontline indices, with Nifty Mid-Cap Index down 1.35 per cent and the Nifty Small-Cap Index down 0.92 per cent, respectively. Except for IT, all sectors are trading in the negative, with banks, automobiles, and FMCG sliding the most.

According to preliminary statistics as of August 2, 2022, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) purchased shares worth Rs 825.18 crore while Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) purchased shares worth Rs 117.79 crore. The advance-decline ratio appears to be modest, with 1,173 stocks rising, 1,665 decreasing, and 126 remaining unchanged.
