These small-cap and mid-cap stocks staged smart recovery from days low!

Recovery from the lower levels indicates that the market participants actively participated in these stocks at the lower levels.

On Wednesday, Nifty opened higher of about 121 points due to the good sentiment of the Asian markets. Nifty made swings throughout the day as the fight between the bulls and the bears intensified. The last hour of the session saw Nifty gaining 100 points to close at 17,166, up by almost a per cent. After a long time, Nifty ended on a healthy note. Another good point to note is that India VIX crashed over 8 per cent to close below 20, which is a healthy sign.

All the sectoral indices ended in green except Nifty Pharma, which ended one and a half per cent lower. Top gainers for today are IndusInd Bank & JSW Steel while the top losers include Cipla and Divi’s Labs.

Given the fact that the market ended in green, it would be interesting to know which stocks recovered from the day's low. Recovery from the lower levels indicates that the market participants actively participated in these stocks at the lower levels.
