Techno Electric & Engineering reports mix set of numbers

Techno Electric & Engineering Company posted consolidated revenue for the quarter of Rs. 301.5 crore, registering 15.4 per cent yoy decline. This was primarily driven by 15.4 per cent yoy decline EPC (construction) divsion and 14.9 per cent yoy decline in energy (power) business.

The company's EBITDA for the quarter fell by 2 per cent yoy to Rs. 73.56 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 332 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 24.4 per cent. This margin expansion was aided by lower material, stores & projects expenses in proportionate to sales (66.3 per cent in Q3FY18 vs 71.8 per cent in Q3FY17).

The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 43.44 crore, yoy increase of 6.3 per cent.

Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited is a provider of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to core sector industries in India. The company's segments are EPC (Construction), Energy (Power) and Corporate. The company serves the metallurgical and petrochemical sectors, among others. The company provides solutions for captive power plants, balance of plant (BOP) for thermal and hydro power projects and utilities for power projects.
