Tata Tea partners with Help Age India for supporting senior citizens

Tata Tea, a part of Tata Consumer Products Limited, the multinational non-alcoholic beverages company, has partnered with Help Age India to support senior citizens in the ongoing pandemic situation.

Tata Tea had announced earlier that it is working for the cause of elderly people in spreading awareness and supporting them to cope up with the current situation. Now, as an official partner of Help Age India, the brand is offering a helping hand to those who are vulnerable in this situation by making a meaningful change in their life through their social initiative, ‘Iss baar #BadonKeLiye #Jaago Re.’ With this association, both Tata Tea & Help Age India, aims to extend on-ground help to senior citizens in different states of India during this crisis.

Earlier, Tata Tea was spreading awareness by inspiring youngsters to take care of the elderly and be sensitive towards them. For this purpose, they were asking people to sign pledge & petitions and as a result, around 4,500 pledges were signed. However, now after partnering with a leading charity organisation that works for the cause of elderly, Tata Tea has taken its initiative to another level.

At the time of market closing on Monday, the stock of Tata Consumer Products Ltd was trading at Rs 355.75, up by 2.01 per cent against its previous close of Rs 348.75. Its 52-week high is Rs 407.95 while, its 52-week low is Rs 197.35 on BSE.
