Stocks Lead the Charge with MARUTI, M&M, and INDUSINDBK in Focus, While Nifty Realty and Metal Sectors Lag

Wider market indices have surpassed the performance of the benchmarks.

On Friday, the Sensex gained by 909.64 points to close at 60,841.88, while the Nifty 50 increased by 243.65 points to close at 17,854.05

On Thursday, the Sensex gained 846.94 points to close at 60,747.31, while the Nifty 50 increased 241.75 points to close at 18,101.20

On Friday, Sensex tanked 452.90 points to close at 59, 900.37, while the Nifty 50 dropped 132.70 points to close at 17,859.45. Among the Nifty gainers were Britannia, M&M, Reliance, BPCL and Bajaj Auto, while, TCS, JSW Steel, InusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers

The overall tractor sales in CY22 in the first nine months were nearly 5.16 lakh units. The monthly sales have been in excess of 50,000 units, barring the month of August 2022.  

Indices witnessed a good rally towards the end as Nifty gained over 100 points to close at 17,800. The benchmark index surged a per cent while Sensex jumped 659 points.

At market close on Friday, the markets ended the session on a flat note, owing to mixed global cues.  

At the day’s end, Sensex settled at 58,803.33, up by 36.74 points or 0.06 per cent whereas Nifty 50 closed at 17,539.45, down by 3.35 points or 0.02 per cent.
