Indian investors looking to diversify their portfolios with exposure to US stocks can invest in ETFs that track the Dow and the Nasdaq.

Nifty opened with a slight gap-up and traded higher after some intraday consolidation. In the afternoon session, it witnessed a profit booking and touched its previous falling trend line on the daily time frame. Nifty closed higher around 24 points or 0.14 per cent to close around the 17,624 level. S&P BSE Sensex also closed flat with a rise of 13 points. Nifty Mid-cap 100 and Nifty Small-cap 100 rallied 0.38 per cent and 0.28 per cent respectively.  

Nifty closed around the day's high by rallying 42 points or 0.24 per cent to close around 17,600 level on the weekly expiry day.  S&P BSE Sensex also closed around the day’s high with rise more than 143 points. Nifty Midcap 100 rallied 0.64 per cent after 2 days’ consolidation and Nifty Small cap 100 rallied 0.78 per cent.   

Nifty traded higher and closed around the day's high by rallying 159 points or 0.91 per cent to close around 17,557 level. S&P BSE Sensex also closed around the day’s high with more than 600 points rise. Nifty Midcap 100 consolidated in a small range throughout the day while Nifty Small cap 100 rallied 0.72 per cent.   

Nifty closed 38 points or 0.22 per cent above from previous close after sharp profit booking of morning session and closed around 17,398 level. S&P BSE Sensex closed around the day’s high with a rise of 152 points. Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Small cap 100 soared 0.44 per cent and 0.74 per cent respectively.   

About 1,934 shares have advanced, 1,499 declined and 144 are unchanged. 

In a strongly volatile weekly expiry day, the benchmark indices witnessed a severe sell-off as NSE Nifty 50 index plunged 1.32 per cent to close at 18,400 levels while S&P BSE Sensex tanked nearly 900 points.

Benchmark indices traded lower throughout the day ahead of the release of US Jobs data. NSE Nifty 50 index slipped 0.62 per cent to close at the 18,700 level while BSE Sensex dipped 415 points.

NSE Nifty 50 is trading at 18,400 level and has jumped 0.78 per cent while Sensex has surged 500 points.

Indices closed marginally higher on a volatile Wednesday’s trading session. NSE Nifty 50 index climbed 0.13 per cent while BSE Sensex rose nearly 100 points ahead of US Fed minutes scheduled to be released later this evening.

NSE Nifty 50 index hit a fresh 52-week high level of 18,360 level while closing nearly at day’s high. The benchmark index jumped 1.78 per cent while BSE Sensex rose 1200 points.

NSE Nifty 50 index plunged 0.25 per cent to close below 18,200 level while Sensex slipped 150 points. Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap closed lower by 0.74 per cent and 0.56 per cent respectively.

A volatile Wednesday came to an end with slight losses as Nifty slipped 0.34 per cent to close below the 18,100-mark. Sensex lost 215 points while Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap also ended marginally lower.

Investors rejoiced as Nifty finally claimed the much coveted 18000 mark. Sensex also soared above the 60000 level. It was a broad based rally on Monday as all the sectors closed positively.

Talking about the sectoral indices, the majority of the sectors ended in red with Nifty Metal and Pharma losing over a per cent each. On the other hand, Nifty Auto and Energy jumped 1.63 per cent & 1.39 per cent, respectively.   

Indices closed at the day’s high after strong positive sentiment led Nifty to close above 17,200 level. The benchmark index surged 2.29 per cent while Sensex climbed 1,278 points.

It was carnage on Friday as a severe sell-off in the Indian equity markets took investors by surprise. Nifty tumbled 1.72 per cent to close just above 17,300 while Sensex tanked more than 1,000 points.

Indices witnessed some profit booking in the last half hour as Nifty plunged 80 points from the day’s high. In the end, Nifty tumbled 0.37 per cent and closed at the 18,000 level. 

Indices closed higher on the day of the weekly expiry. Nifty gained about 0.89 per cent to close at 16,132 while Sensex climbed 427 points.

Nifty witnessed selling pressure towards the end as it tumbled below the 16,150-mark to close at 16,125.15.

 Indices have closed lower amid volatility. Nifty slipped 1.63 per cent to close the week at 16,411. Besides, Sensex tanked about 866 points while Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap plunged 1.79 per cent & 2.53 per cent, respectively.
