The stock traded 7.1 per cent lower, hitting an intraday low of Rs 2,274 on the NSE.

The company's total revenue for Q2FY23 was Rs 742.01 crore, up 39.56 per cent from the same period last year, when it was Rs 531.67 crore.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices recovered in the afternoon session but closed lower towards the end of the trading session.

On the last day of the week, benchmark indices zoomed towards the end of the session, closing higher for the first time this week.  Sensex advanced 344.63 points while Nifty gained 116.25 points at the close.

Worries over interest rate hikes alarmed the investors during Friday's trading session. As a result, the benchmark indices started the trading session deep in the red. A sharp fall was seen in the US stocks as the market identified the need for a higher rate hike to sustain higher inflation levels affected the global markets with heavy selling.  

On Thursday, the bulls took the charge and forced the benchmark indices to close on a higher note. The broader markets also replicated the benchmark indices and closed in green.
