Surya Roshni bags order worth Rs. 152.88 crore
Surya Roshni, a Delhi-based lighting and GI steel pipe manufacturer, announced that it has won order worth Rs. 151.88 crore, on Tuesday.
The company informed in a stock exchange filing about the order. The order was awarded by Bharat Gas Resources Limited (BGRL). The order aggregating Rs. 151.88 crore, excluding GST, is for the supply of API Grade 3LPE Coated line pipes of 4,64,000 meter ranging in different sizes and specifications. The timeframe in which the order is to be executed is 7 months.
Surya Roshni is in the business of manufacturing electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes & lighting products, with facilities at Bahadurgarh (Haryana), Kashipur (Uttarakhand) and Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh).
The stock reacted to the news and touched its intraday high of Rs. 237.85 per share after opening lower in the morning trade. On Tuesday, the stock closed at Rs. 237.85 per share with gains of 0.70 per cent or Rs. 1.65 on BSE. The benchmark index BSE Sensex closed at 39,046, higher by 85 points.
