Subscribe to top MF schemes with Rs. 500 per month

Investors always seek an opportunity to invest with a lower sum. Every beginner want to invest in smaller amounts first. Every mutual fund investor knows that a Systematic Investment Plan or SIP is the one of the easiest and best way to invest in equity mutual funds in smaller amounts to create wealth over a long period.

AMFI data also shows that SIPs have been gaining traction and popularity among the investors. For the year 2017-18, on an aggregate level the mutual fund industry had added around 9.26 lakh SIP accounts per month, with an average SIP size of Rs. 3,300 nearly for each SIP account. At present, mutual funds have about 1.97 crore SIP accounts. Mutual funds collected a sum of Rs. 6,644 crore through SIPs in the month of January 2018.

The growing penetration, awareness and popularity of SIPs direct us to look into the schemes which require smaller investment but have a potential to reap better returns. For this we have analysed the mutual fund schemes with minimum investment limit and better returns. We have analysed 244 equity mutual fund schemes among various categories. Among them we have filtered below mentioned top 5 performers with the minimum investment requirement of Rs. 500 only. These funds have delighted investors with good returns over the long term. An investor with lower capital availability can look into such funds.
