Stocks to watch: These smallcap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Technocraft Industries (India), Dhampur Sugar Mills, Usha Martin, Ganges Securities, MMP Industries, Credit Access Grameen, Ingersoll Rand (India), Oriental Hotels, AVT Natural Products, Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers, AVT Natural Products, Greenpanel Industries and Speciality Restaurants made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Monday, Indian equity markets started the week on a strong note. Headline benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the session at 16,871.30 and 56,486.02 respectively with gains of 1.45 per cent and 1.68 per cent.

On the contrary, BSE Smallcap index underperformed broader markets by gaining only 0.31 per cent and closing at 27,226.34. Top gainers of the index include Technocraft Industries (India), Dhampur Sugar Mills, Usha Martin and Credit Access Grameen. Top losers comprise of Take Solutions, Sobha, Future Supply Chain Solutions and Sterling Tools.

The following trending stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, March 15, 2022:

Kabra Extrusiontechnik - The lithium-ion battery division of the company – Battrixx, has announced that it has acquired 100 per cent stake in Pune-based Varos Technology Pvt. Ltd., which is a pioneer in developing and leveraging IoT (Internet of Things) tools for EV infrastructure and battery management systems. Varos Technology will anchor its capabilities to develop end-to-end battery management systems by leveraging cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) driven analytic tools to help predict battery life and monitor battery performance.

PNC Infratech – The company has secured a new project. The company was declared the lowest bidder for a NHAI project of four laning of NH530B in the state of Uttar Pradesh on Hybrid Annuity Mode, for a bid project cost of Rs 738 crore. The project is to be constructed in 24 months and operated for 15 years post construction.

Power Merch Projects The company has informed the exchange that it has won orders worth Rs 2,120 crore, under Phase-III projects in villages of Pratapgarh, Fatehpur and Meerut districts in Uttar Pradesh.
