Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Shree Renuka Sugars, Vaishali Pharma, Uma Exports, AMD Industries, BLS International Services, KM Sugar Mills, Mirza International, and Dwarikesh Sugar Industries made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Thursday, the domestic equity markets further extended their losing streak, plunging in the second half of the trading session. The frontline indices i.e. Nifty & Sensex slipped approximately 0.94 per cent each, closing at 17,639.50 and 59,034.95, respectively.  

BSE Smallcap index also closed in the red territory at the 29,474.70 level, down by 0.75 per cent. The Top Gainers of the index include Shree Renuka Sugars, BLS International Services, Harrisons Malayalam, and DCB Bank. Besides, the top losers comprise Escorts, Reliance Infrastructure, AVT Natural Products, IDFC, and MAS Financial Services.  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, April 8, 2022:    

Alembic Pharmaceuticals – The company intimated to the exchange that it has received tentative approval from US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for Dabigatran Etexilate capsules (75 mg, 110 mg & 150 mg). According to IQVIA, Dabigatran Etexilate capsules have an estimated market size of USD 465 million for twelve months ending December 2021.    

Ajmera Realty & Infra India – The company recently announced that it has executed its commercial and residential ‘Nucleus’ project in Bengaluru, which has an estimated sales value of Rs 330 crore. In a bid to expand its housing and commercial portfolio, this project helps the company to strengthen its presence in the South Indian market.   

Tea stocks – Tea stocks flexed their muscles in today’s session, recording solid gains. Jay Shree Tea & Industries as well as Harrisons Malayalam skyrocketed by approximately 18 per cent each. McLeod Russel India, Rossell India, and Warren Tea rallied around 7 per cent each. 

Avro India – The company, which happens to be one of the leading manufacturers of plastic-molded furniture products, has migrated to the main board of NSE & BSE from NSE Emerge.   

52-week high stocks – Shree Renuka Sugars, Vaishali Pharma, Uma Exports, AMD Industries, BLS International Services, KM Sugar Mills, Mirza International, and Dwarikesh Sugar Industries made a fresh 52-week high today.
