Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on August 16!

AMD Industries, Ethos, Hilton Metal Forging, Ksb, Hariom Pipe Industries, and Wonderla Holidays. Home First Finance, International Constructions, Kennametal India, Rama Steel Tubes, Imagicaaworld Entertainment and Cantabil Retail India made a fresh 52-week high today.  

On Friday, Indian equity markets ended with positive developments in the green territory. Nifty 50 and Sensex gained 0.22 per cent each to end at 17,698.1 and 59,462.7, respectively. BSE Smallcap index advanced 0.39 per cent to end at 27,905.91. 

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, August 16, 2022:    

Upper Circuit Stocks - DFM Foods, Williamson Magor and Company, Hindustan Fluoro Carbons, TGB Banquets & Hotels, Bang Overseas and FCS Software Solutions locked in the upper circuit in today's trading session. 

Top Gainers and Losers - Top small-cap gainers include Sanghi Industries, Newgen Software, KSB, Diamines and Chemicals and Fairchem Organics. Top Losers comprise Everest Kanto Cylinder, Fiem Industries, Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers, Bharat Dynamics and Ador Welding. 

Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores - The company reported weak numbers for the quarter ended June 2022. Profit for the June quarter came in at Rs 34 crore, as compared to Rs 149 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 652 crore versus Rs 475 crore in Q1FY22. 

Aster DM Healthcare - The company failed to impress investors with its Q1FY23 results. Revenue for Q1FY23 came in at Rs 2,662 crore relative to Rs 2,372 crore in Q1FY22. Profit for the quarter came in at Rs 69 crore versus Rs 44 crore in the same quarter last year. 

52-week high stocks – AMD Industries, Ethos, Hilton Metal Forging, Ksb, Hariom Pipe Industries, and Wonderla Holidays, Home First Finance, International Constructions, Kennametal India, Rama Steel Tubes, Imagicaaworld Entertainment and Cantabil Retail India made a fresh 52-week high today.
