Godfrey Phillips: Income Tax Department had searched the office premises of Godfrey Phillips India from February 3 to February 7, 2021 in connection with a search carried out on a promoter of the company under Section 132 of Income Tax Act, 1961. The company has extended full cooperation to the authorities and will participate in any proceedings if required.  

Max Healthcare: The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary namely, ALPS Hospital (ALPS) has entered into a settlement agreement with Chiranjiv Charitable Trust (CCT) regarding the ongoing dispute related to premises leased to ALPS for its 72-bedded hospital in Gurugram. Consequent to the settlement, the civil judge of Gurugram has disposed of the petition and the copy of the order was received on February 6, 2021. Accordingly, the contingent liability of Rs 115 crore reported in the annual audited consolidated financial results of the company for FY 19-20, stands extinguished.  

ACC: The ground-breaking ceremony of ACC Greenfield Project of 2.7 MTPA integrated cement plant with 1 MTPA cement grinding unit at Ametha in Kymore (Madhya Pradesh) was performed by Shivraj Singh Chouhan.   

BDL: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) launches new products and signs MoU at Aero India, 2021.  

HAL: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and French firm, Safran Aircraft Engines signed an MoU for collaboration in the development, manufacture, maintenance, training & upgrade of high thrust aero engines.  

BEML: The company signed MoUs to explore & enhance the business in defence & aerospace.  

IRCTC: IRCTC launched its online bus booking services.   

Grasim Industries: The company has received observation letters with "no adverse observation" from BSE and "no objection" from NSE for the proposed scheme of arrangement between Grasim Industries Limited and Indorama India Private Limited along with their respective shareholders & creditors under Sections 230 to 232 of the Companies Act, 2013 as well as other relevant provisions under the applicable law.  

Adani Enterprises: Adani Airports acquires 23.5 per cent of Mumbai Airport.  

AstraZeneca Pharma: AstraZeneca Pharma has received import and market permission in Form CT-20 (subsequent new drug approval) from Drugs Controller General of India for Dapagliflozin tablets 10 mg. Dapagliflozin tablets 10 mg is now approved for additional indication i.e. for the treatment of patients of chronic kidney disease up to stage III (eGFR of greater than or equal to 30 ml/min/1.73 m2).  

Maruti Suzuki India: Maruti Suzuki’s production in January 2021 dropped to 1.60 lakh units from 1.79 lakh units in January 2020.
