Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 8

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 758.37 crore on Wednesday (September 7) while the DIIs sold equity worth Rs 138.67 crore.    

At 12.45 pm on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 are trading higher on the back of the strong rebound rally in the US markets on Wednesday.  

The Asia-Pacific markets are also trading higher as the markets all over seemed to have assumed the impending rate hike by Federal Reserve. Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped 2.14 per cent whereas China’s Shanghai Composite plunged 0.15 per cent.    

Sensex is trading at 59,510.13, higher by 481.22 points or 0.82 per cent while Nifty 50 is at 17,753.15, up by 128.75 points or 0.74 per cent. Nifty Bank is trading higher by 1.56 per cent at the   40,072.40 level.     

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 758.37 crore on Wednesday (September 7) while the DIIs sold equity worth Rs 138.67 crore.    

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Shree Cement, BPCL, Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank, and Bharti Airtel. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index include Hindalco Industries, SBI Life Insurance, Tata Steel, Coal India, and UPL.   

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,485.29, up by 0.64 per cent. The top gainers in the pack are Schneider Infrastructure (13.33 per cent), Future Consumer (10 per cent), Igarashi Motors (8.95 per cent), Sonata Software (8.95 per cent), and Thyrocare Technologies (8.41 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, BSE IT, BSE Auto, and BSE Telecom, BSE Private Bank are trading more than a per cent each on the bourses.
