Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 19

The FIIs entered a major sell-off mode and sold equity worth Rs 3,260.05 crore on Friday (September 16) while the DIIs have also sold equity for a net worth of Rs 36.57 crore.    

At 11.30 am on Monday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 are trading marginally higher ahead of the two-day meeting of the US Federal Reserve in which, the central bank is expected to hike the interest rate by 75 basis points.    

Sensex is trading at 59,205.35, up by 364.56 points or 0.62 per cent while Nifty 50 is at 17,644.80, up by 113.95 points or 0.65 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index is at the 41,104.40 level, up by 0.80 per cent.  

The FIIs entered a major sell-off mode and sold equity worth Rs 3,260.05 crore on Friday (September 16) while the DIIs have also sold equity for a net worth of Rs 36.57 crore.    

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Adani Ports & SEZ, Mahindra & Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance Company, Bajaj Finance, and HDFC. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index include Cipla, Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Steel, and UltraTech Cement.    

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,314.30, higher by 0.39 per cent. The top gainers in the pack are Transformers & Rectifiers (India) (14.08 per cent), Hercules Hoists (14.21 per cent), Triveni Engineering & Industries (10.99 per cent), Privi Speciality Chemicals (11.52 per cent), and Alicon Castalloy (7.76 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, most of the indices are trading in the green with only BSE Telecom, BSE Metal, and BSE Realty trading in the red.
