Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 15

On the sectoral front, BSE Power, BSE Auto & BSE Utilities were the major gainers whereas BSE IT, BSE Metal, and BSE Realty were the major wealth eroders.  

At day end  on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 closed the session on the steeper side, owing to inflation fears and weaker sentiments in Asia Pacific markets.  

Sensex settled at 59,934.01, down by 412.96 points or 0.68 per cent while Nifty 50 closed at 17,877.40, down by 126.35 points or 0.70 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index also ended lower at 41,209.20 level,down by 0.47 per cent.  

The FIIs sold equity worth Rs 1,397.51 crore on Wednesday (September 14) while the DIIs have bought equity for a net worth of Rs 187.58 crore.    

  

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Ports and SEZ, Power Grid Corporation of India, and NTPC. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index include Hindalco Industries, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cipla, and Tata Steel.  

  

BSE Smallcap settled at 29,911.51, higher by 0.06 per cent. The top gainers in the pack  are Ceat (20 per cent), South Indian Bank(19.91 per cent), JK Tyre and Industries (17.64 per cent), PTL Enterprises (14.42  per cent), and FIEM Industries (13.56 per cent).
