Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on October 6

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 1,344.63 crore on Tuesday (October 4) while the DIIs bought equity for a net worth of Rs 945.92 crore.    

At 1 pm on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 are trading marginally higher amidst extreme market volatility in the US markets.    

On the other hand, Asia Pacific markets are also giving mixed reactions with Japan’s Nikkei 225 trading higher by 0.70 per cent whereas China’s Shanghai Composite trading lower by 0.55 per cent.  

   

Sensex is trading at 58,397.89, up by 332.42 points or 0.57 per cent while Nifty 50 is at 17,375.00, up by 100.15 points or 0.58 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index is buzzing at 39,430.10 level, up by 0.82 per cent.  

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 1,344.63 crore on Tuesday (October 4) while the DIIs bought equity for a net worth of Rs 945.92 crore.   

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack were JSW Steel, Coal India, Hindalco Industries, ICICI Bank, and HCL Technologies. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index included Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Cipla, and IndusInd Bank.  

BSE Smallcap index is trading higher at 29,140.98, up by 1.46 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Gayatri Projects (12.20 per cent), Sterlite Technologies (11.50 per cent), Greenlam Industries (11.35 per cent), Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances (10 per cent), and HEG (11.98 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, all the indices were up and trading in the green with BSE Metal, BSE Capital Goods, BSE Realty, BSE IT, and BSE Industrials being some of the top gainers on the bourses.
