Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on October 4

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 590.58 crore on Monday (October 3) while the DIIs sold equity for a net worth of Rs 423.16 crore.     

At the time of market close on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 settled more than 2 per cent higher after the markets made a reversal on the back of a surge in the US markets.  

Sensex closed at 58,065.47, up by 1276.66 points or 2.25 per cent while Nifty 50 settled at 17,274.30, up by 386.95 points or 2.29 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index ended the session at 39,110.05 level, up by 2.84 per cent.  

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 590.58 crore on Monday (October 3) while the DIIs sold equity for a net worth of Rs 423.16 crore.   

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack were IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports & SEZ, Bajaj Finance, Coal India, and Hero MotoCorp. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index were Power Grid Corporation of India and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.  

BSE Smallcap index settled at 28,723.02 level, higher by 1.49 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Gayatri Projects (20 per cent), Max Ventures & Industries (19.99 per cent),  Hi-Tech Pipes (15.10 per cent), Angel One (12.35 per cent), and Sportking India (11.98 per cent). 

On the sectoral front, all the indices were up and trading in the green with BSE Metal, BSE Private Bank, BSE IT, and BSE Financial Services being some of the top gainers on the bourses.
