SPML Infra jumps by nearly 10 per cent

On Monday, SPML Infra announced that it has received two new orders worth Rs. 218 crores for wastewater projects in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

The orders include a joint venture undertaking with Pulkit Projects for the planning, designing, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of 30 MLD sewage treatment plants (STPs) and interception and diversion of drain in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, for pollution abatement of River Ganga under the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG). This order is estimated to be worth Rs.183.68 crores. Another order, worth Rs. 34.50 crores, was received for the planning, designing, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of 10 MLD common effluent treatment plants (CETPs) and 30 MLD main pumping stations based on tertiary treatment for the industrial area of Bahadurgarh.

SPML Infra Ltd. is an infrastructure development company, which has executed more than 600 projects related to the provision of drinking water, improved sewerage facilities, better municipal waste management, and lighting up homes. The company provides drinking water facilities to more than 50 million Indian populations through various projects.
 
On Monday, the stock was trading at Rs. 12.05, up 9.05 per cent from the previous close. The 52-week high is Rs. 48 and the 52-week low is Rs. 6.32 on BSE.
