Small-caps & Mid-caps shine in morning session; Bal Pharma zooms nearly 16 per cent, LIC Housing sees long build-up
The markets on Friday has continued with Thursday’s rally. However, in today’s session, mid-caps and small-caps are seen outperforming Sensex as BSE Small-Cap is up by 0.32 per cent while BSE Mid-Cap gains by 0.30 per cent.
Bal Pharma features amongst the top gainers in the morning session. The stock is up by more than 17 per cent within just an hour of the trade on Friday. Meanwhile, the stock went up by 45 per cent in one year.
Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Solar Industries and JMC Projects (India) Ltd are the top-performing small-cap stocks during the morning session today. Thyrocare Technologies is up by more than 6 per cent as well.
Long build-up can be seen in LIC Housing, Apollo Hospitals, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, and Cadila Healthcare in the morning session.
Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, and L&T are amongst the top Sensex gainers today.
Hindustan Unilever, TCS, RIL, and Tech Mahindra are amongst the top Sensex losers on Friday.
