Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on March 18

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Monday with the Sensex up 0.14 per cent at 72,748, and the Nifty-50 up 0.15 per cent at 22,056. About 2,008 shares have advanced, 1,929 have declined and 119 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,245.17 on March 07, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,525.20 on March 07, 2024.
The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.04 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.07 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Manoj Vaibhav Gems N Jewellers Ltd, Navkar Corporation Ltd and Balu Forge Industries Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the Metals Index and BSE Auto Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Goods Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Losers.
