Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 30
As of December 30, 2024, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.41 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.57 per cent at 78,248 and the Nifty-50 down 0.71 per cent at 23,645. About 1,487 shares have advanced, 2,636 shares have declined and 144 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.13 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.47 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd, Crisil Ltd and Godrej Industries Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Manoj Vaibhav Gems N Jewellers Ltd, ITI Ltd and AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Healthcare Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
As of December 30, 2024, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.41 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 186 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 117 stocks touched a 52-week low.
