Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 13
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,51,29,122 crore or approx. Rs 351 lakh crore as of December 13, 2023.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positively on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.05 per cent at 69,585 and the Nifty-50 up 0.1 per cent at 20,926. About 2,189 shares have advanced, 1,586 have declined and 116 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 70,057.83 and NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 21,026.10 on December 11, 2023.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.06 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.73 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were REC Ltd, GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd and NMDC Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd, Pc Jeweller Ltd and HPL Electric & Power Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Realty Index being one of the Top Gainers whereas the BSE Information Technology Index being one of the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,51,29,122 crore or approx. Rs 351 lakh crore as of December 13, 2023. On the same day, 342 stocks hit a 52-week high while 14 stocks touched a 52-week low.
