Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 1.01 per cent at 73,337 and the Nifty-50 up 1.15 per cent at 22,337.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 1.01 per cent at 73,337 and the Nifty-50 up 1.15 per cent at 22,337. About 3,246 shares have advanced, 768 shares have declined and 87 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.66 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 2.80 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Coforge Ltd, Adani Wilmar Ltd and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Man Industries (India) Ltd, Aptech Ltd and Bharat Wire Ropes Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Utilities Index, BSE Telecommunication Index, BSE Power Index, BSE Metals Index and BSE Services Index surging over 3 per cent each.

As of March 05, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.93 lakh crore or USD 4.51 trillion. On the same day, 54 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 572 stocks touched a 52-week low.
