Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of March 04, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.81 lakh crore or USD 4.41 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.13 per cent at 72,990 and the Nifty-50 down 0.17 per cent at 22,083. About 2,221 shares have advanced, 1,737 shares have declined and 128 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.08 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.28 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were General Insurance Corporation of India, Go Digit General Insurance Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were MPS Ltd, India Cements Ltd and NACL Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Pwer Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Energy Index and BSE Financial Services Index were the Top Losers.

As of March 04, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.81 lakh crore or USD 4.41 trillion. On the same day, 54 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 572 stocks touched a 52-week low.
