Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.13 per cent at 73,102 and the Nifty-50 down 0.02 per cent at 22,120. About 1,185 shares have advanced, 2,852 shares have declined and 158 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.30 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.65 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Thermax Ltd, Bandhan Bank and Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Indoco Remedies Ltd, Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd and Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Pwer Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Energy Index and BSE Financial Services Index were the Top Losers.

As of March 03, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.84 lakh crore or USD 4.40 trillion. On the same day, 63 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 1,115 stocks touched a 52-week low.
