Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of February 24, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.98 lakh crore or USD 4.59 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex down 1.14 per cent at 74,454 and the Nifty-50 down 1.06 per cent at 22,553. About 1,209 shares have advanced, 2,809 shares have declined and 182 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.78 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.31 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Abbott India Ltd and Laurus Labs Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Apollo Pipes Ltd, Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd and Texmaco Infrastructure & Holdings Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Auto Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 24, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.98 lakh crore or USD 4.59 trillion. On the same day, 61 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 283 stocks touched a 52-week low.
