Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The top mid-cap gainers were Laurus Labs Ltd, Solar Industries Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Hitachi Energy India Ltd, Shanthi Gears Ltd and Blue Jet Healthcare Ltd.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.30 per cent at 76,760  and the Nifty-50 up 0.37 per cent at 23,250. About 2,140 shares have advanced, 1,808 shares have declined and 126 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.04 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.02 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Laurus Labs Ltd, Solar Industries Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Hitachi Energy India Ltd, Shanthi Gears Ltd and Blue Jet Healthcare Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 30, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.18 lakh crore or USD 4.83 trillion. On the same day, 61 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 100 stocks touched a 52-week low.
