Sensex hits 40,000K ahead of budget
The benchmark indices were upbeat in Friday's morning session. The BSE Sensex hit a high of 40,032.41, while Nifty50 inched closers to the 12,000 mark hitting 11,981.75 level.
As always tax cuts top the list of expectations from the budget, besides the market is expecting incentives and reforms to revive businesses.

* Taxes waivers for the real estate sector
* Tax incentive for the SME & MSME sectors
* Increase in divestment target
* Interest rate subvention and lower tax rates for exports
* New policy for NBFCs
* Relief for the rural and agri sector
* Focus on food procession industry
* Higher allocation to healthcare and education
As the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reached the Parliament for the budget announcement, the BSE Sensex was at 39,949.95, up by 41.89 points or 0.10 per cent and Nifty50 was at 11,952.80, up by 6.05 points or 0.05 per cent at 10:07 hours on Friday.
