Sagar Cements reports 23.13 per cent fall in cement production in November

Sagar Cements has presented its cement production figures for November 2019. The company’s Standalone cement production/purchase for November 2019 stood at 172,160 million tonnes (MT), down by 27.35 per cent compared to 236,967 MT produced in November 2018. The company’s consolidated cement production for the last month stood at 244,291 MT, reporting a decline of 23.13 per cent compared to 317,796 MT produced in November 2018.

Further, the company’s Standalone cement sales for November 2019 stood at 167,720 million tonnes (MT) down by 29.35 per cent compared to 237,409 MT sold in November 2018. The company’s consolidated cement sales for November 2019 stood at 241,195 MT, down by 23.46 per cent compared to 315,106 MT sold in November 2018.

Sagar Cements is a prominent player in the cement segment in Andhra Pradesh for over 3 decades. It has adopted progressive manufacturing practices, where it associates with maintaining high standards of quality of its products, developing its highly valued human resources, and working accordingly to keep the pollution to the barest minimum.

Today, the stock opened at Rs. 512.10, down by 2 per cent from its previous close of Rs. 525.05 on BSE.
