We recommended Honda India Power Products in volume no. 38, issue no. 28 (dated May 02, 2022) when the scrip was trading at Rs 1,418. On the standalone quarterly front, the company recorded net sales and operating income of Rs 337.51 crore for Q3FY22, registering a growth of 18.23 per cent as compared to Q3FY21. The operating profit gained 5.25 per cent to reach Rs 35.86 crore in Q3FY22 from Rs 34.07 crore posted in Q3FY21. In the last one month, the stock has outperformed, jumping 25 per cent post the production commencement of the upcoming electric hybrid version of its popular sedan, 'City' by Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), the company's fellow subsidiary. During the same period, BSE Sensex declined 7 per cent. Hence, we recommend our investor-readers to BOOK PROFIT at Rs 1,582.70 with a gain of 11.7 per cent.
