RattanIndia exhibits massive online sale of e-bikes within minutes post-opening; stock takes a ride

India’s market leader in the electronic bikes, RattanIndia’s Revolt Motors had completely sold out its e-bikes within minutes after opening on Revolt Motors’ website.

On June 18, the company had witnessed a similar sale, where it took only two hours for a complete sell-out. Obviously, the soaring petrol price in the economy is one of the reasons why people have turned to e-bikes.

The cost factor also kicks in, where an average petrol bike costs Rs 250 per 100 km, an e-bike costs approximately Rs 9 for the same.

These sales were for the RV400 bikes that are AI-enabled and exhibit equal footing with petrol bikes in almost every comparable. The bike can run for 150 km on a single charge and has a top speed of 85 km/hour. The bike is connected to MyRevolt App through which, various features such as GPS, battery status, history, etc can be activated.

Various state governments offer significant incentives for buying e-bikes. For example, Maharashtra provides over Rs 25,000 incentives while Gujarat offers Rs 20,000.

Revolt Motors manufacture next-gen e-bikes that produce zero fuel residues. It has launched India’s first AI-enabled e-bike without compromising the performance quality of a regular bike.

At 2.56 pm on Thursday, the stock was trading at Rs 50.30, up by 4.9 per cent on BSE.
